CROATIA forward Andrej Kramaric wants to erase the memory of his failed move to Leicester by knocking England out of the World Cup.

Kramaric (left) became Leicester’s record signing when he joined them for £9.7million in January 2015, but failed to make an impact.

The dazzling form of Leicester’s attacking trio of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez (above) and Marc Albrighton in their title-winning campaign restricted Kramaric to just two Premier League appearances. The 27-year-old was loaned to German club Hoffenheim and eventually made the move permanent. Kramaric said his time with the Foxes was memorable, but he now wants to write a new story with Croatia. “My stay in England was a great experience I could talk about for days,” said Kramaric. “But it was difficult to get into the team. I hope to be able to talk about Croatia and this World Cup for years.”
