HOPEFUL William PRINCE William has got in touch with the team to wish them luck in the semi-final.

Insiders say Wills, the President of the Football Association, sent his message personally.

It comes after he met the players before their departure for Russia four weeks ago.

A royal source said: “He has been eagerly following England’s progress along with enjoying the whole tournament.

“He has been in touch behind the scenes to the team and has given them public messages of support via Twitter.

“The Duke is just like any other England football fan right now, willing the team to make history and bring it home.” After the quarter-final win, Wills tweeted “you deserve this moment”.
