Adam, 14, in kitesurf feat over Channel
A 14- year- old boy has become the youngest person to kitesurf across the English Channel.
Adam Farrington faced 25mph winds during the 69-mile journey between Poole in Dorset and the French port of Cherbourg, which took 5hr 19min.
Adam, of Ferndown, Dorset, said: “We had near misses with ships. The waves were overhead, I wiped out a dozen times.”
The Guinness World Records has no record for the youngest kitesurfer to cross. Richard Branson is the oldest, then aged 61.
