MURRAY: NOVAK HAS GOT HIS MOJO BACK

-

ANDY MURRAY has backed Novak Djokovic to win his first Grand Slam for two years at Wimbledon.

The Scot, who pulled out on the eve of The Championships, was back at SW19 as a BBC pundit yesterday.

And he will commentate on the men’s quarter-finals today where top seed Roger Federer and world No.1 Rafa Nadal remain on collision course for a rematch of their 2008 final here.

But Murray said: “Novak could beat both of them. I think his level is back to where he wants to be and mentally is where he needs to be. He could go on to win it.” Djokovic (left), who won his 12th and last Grand Slam at the 2016 French Open, showed his old fighting spirit when he took on Kyle Edmund and the Centre Court crowd in the third round.

“It fired him up,” added the Scot. “He is back wanting to win. Before he looked flat and going through the motions. He hasn’t reacted like this for a while.”
