The champion revealed at the weekend that she wasn’t around for her beloved daughter Olympia’s first steps because she was practising for Wimbledon. “I was training and missed itit. I ccried,”id” sheh ttweeted.t She made me want to cry too. Pretty much all working mums can identify with Serena on this. We carry so much guilt about not being there for every milestone. But we shouldn’t feel bad. I’ve learned that life gets much easier when you stop trying to do it all and have it all.
