Hampshire gives Hull hump again

RYAN HAMPSHIRE booted seven goals, including six in the final 20 minutes, as Wakefield swamped Hull. Chris Chester’s side trailed 13-7 and were down to 12 men after Max Jowitt’s sin-binning before storming to an opening Super 8’s success. Hampshire (right), who kicked 12 goals in Trinity’s 72-10 win over Hull last month, proved deadly again. Bill Tupou, Pauli Pauli and Tom Johnstone ran in late Wakefield tries. With Jowitt yellow-carded for throwing the ball away, Jamie Shaul’s converted try gave Hull a 13-7 lead... but then Wakefield went to town.
