Devilish display boosts Salford

SALFORD moved a step closer to Super League survival by grinding out a win at Hull KR. Ed Chamberlain put the Red Devils ahead with a penalty goal before Niall Evalds crossed. But Craig Hall touched down Adam Quinlan’s kick to make it 6-4 at half-time. Salford edged further in front thanks to the boot of Jackson Hastings. And Rob Lui and Joey Lussick both scored to put the Red Devils out of danger. Shaun Lunt then grabbed a late consolation try before Josh Wood dived over.
