You’ll need miracles, Leeds
I SAID before the Championship kicked off that Leeds United’s season would be a glorious success or magnificent failure under Marcelo Bielsa.
And the start they have made suggests it could be the former, particularly the way they played at Derby on Saturday.
But they need 14 or 15 players who can keep up the standards every Saturday-Tuesday, Saturday-Tuesday for the next nine months.
Otherwise it will be very hard for them to maintain momentum, and the inevitable drop off in intensity is something to beware of.
If Bielsa (right) gets them through 46 league games, plus a few more cup matches at this level, with the squad he has got he is a miracle worker.
