Si’s a star in Hollywood
Walk of Fame honour is unveiled in LA
SIMON Cowell beamed with pride as Hollywood gave him its highest honour, a star on the Walk Of Fame.
The X Factor boss posed by it with son Eric, four, and said: “I remember the first time I came to Hollywood thinking it was the most magical place. Now I’m looking at this, it is so surreal.
“If anyone says fame is a bad thing, I don’t know what you’re talking about – it’s the best thing.”
The unveiling was watched by his partner Lauren Silverman, 41, and her first son Adam, 12, plus celebrity pals Amanda Holden, 47, Alesha Dixon, 39, and new X Factor judge Louis Tomlinson, 26.
Simon, 58, thanked his “rock” Lauren for supporting him, particularly after the death of his mother Julie in 2015.
He said only his mum and dad would have got a “bigger kick” from his LA accolade.
He said: “I have a feeling they are looking down, and now I can look over to my son Eric and say, ‘Maybe one day you’ll get one of these as well’.”
After the ceremony, Simon celebrated with a party at Hollywood restaurant, Ago.
