Aged men in style denial
MEN do not dress their age until much later than women, a study found.
They stick with styles from their early years and do not have the “changing room moment” that warns women they look foolish.
Some older men even experimented with colours and saw elasticated trousers as a sign the end was near, said Kent University’s Prof Julia Twigg.
Men’s clothing shows “masculinity in age retains greater positivity than with women,” she added.
