COOK’S PUTTING THE BREAKS ON

-

WIGAN boss Paul Cook cannot get his head around international breaks.

Cook led the Latics into the Championship at the end of last season and said: “To have a break from fixtures like this has been really strange.

“The lads having time off and people doing their own things makes you feel like something is getting away from you, but that’s the modern game now.

“We adapted, we’ve done our best and trained hard for Brentford. For managers used to this it’s probably second nature, but for me it’s been a challenge.”
