He’s got a knife. He’s got my baby inside. What if he’s f***ing stabbed her? TRACEY TAUNDRY IN 999 CALL

A MOTHER watched in horror as her ex dragged their young daughter into his bungalow before stabbing her to death, a court heard yesterday.

Tracey Taundry told jurors eight-year-old Mylee Billingham screamed “Mummy, Mummy” and “Please, Daddy, no Daddy, stop it” as William Billingham, 55, pulled her by the hood.

He then allegedly plunged a kitchen knife through the youngster’s chest with so much force it penetrated her body.

Frantic Tracey called 999 and told the operator, “He’s off his head.” A transcript of the call was read to the jury in Billingham’s murder trial. Tracey said: “My ex-boyfriend has got a knife at me, he’s just dragged my daughter back in the house and he’s got a knife.

“He’s got my baby inside. Please, he’s making her scream. I can hear her. What if he’s f***ing stabbed her?”

Mylee was allegedly attacked when her 34-year-old mum arrived to collect her after she said she was unwell.

Tracey broke down as she gave evidence behind a screen. She told jurors: “He said, ‘It’s not f***ing happening.’ I said, ‘What are you on about?’ He said, ‘I’m going to kill you.’

“He came towards me and held the knife to my neck. Mylee was in front of me. He pushed her out of the way. She was crying, she was upset and shouting, ‘Mummy, stop it Daddy, Mummy.’

“He walked towards her and grabbed her by the hood on her coat.

“He dragged her back in the door. She was saying, ‘Stop it. Mummy.’ Then he slammed the door shut. I was banging on the door and tried the handle but I could not get in. I could hear Mylee, she was saying, ‘Mummy, Mummy.’ After that I couldn’t hear Mylee. Her voice stopped.”

Tracey claimed it was only “seconds” before Mylee stopped screaming after being dragged into Bellingham’s home at Brownhills, West Mids. Prosecutor Karim Khalil QC told the jury at Birmingham crown court the murder was “swift, deliberate, clinical, brutal”.

Hours before the stabbing Billingham posted a photo on Facebook showing his smiling daughter eating pizza on his bed.

Two female police officers called to the alleged attack found him lying on top of his daughter, who was still wearing her pyjamas.

Mr Khalil said: “She was lying on her back. She was covered in blood and had a grey pallor.” The youngster died later in hospital.

Billingham, a dad-of-six, was said to be jealous after Tracey began a lesbian relationship. But he “emphatically” denied the attack was related to her new life.

Bellingham denies murdering Mylee and threatening to kill Tracey. The trial continues.
