Robot is to be grilled by MPs
MPs are set to grill a robot called Pepper – making it what is thought to be the first non-human to be quizzed in Parliament.
It is meant to recognise human emotions from facial expressions and to react appropriately.
Pepper is due before Parliament’s Education Committee on Tuesday.
Chairman Rob Halfon said: “It’s about showing the potential of robotics.”
Pepper is working with Middlesex University on a project helping to teach primary school children.
