Pothole hell batters cars

DRIVERS are 2.5 times more likely to suffer a breakdown caused by a pothole than 12 years ago, an RAC study has found.

Potholes were blamed for 14,220 callouts last year.

The RAC’s David Bizley said: “Road conditions are substandard and have been so for some time.”
