Always In Between offers few surprises, covering all the bases from thumping dance floor fillers (No One) to shimmering selfreflective thoughtfulness (Thursday) all fronted by her powerful vibrating warble. But the substandard nature of material such as Never Let Me Go soon takes hold. This wanders between average and plain ordinary.
