-

(Euro qualifier)

CROATIA fans were banned in Split following racist chants in a 5-1 win over Norway three months earlier. SUPPORTERS were excluded in Zagreb following the swastika incident against Italy. Croatia were also docked a point and UEFA ordered them to serve a two-game stadium fan ban in European qualifiers. Tonight’s England game is the second of those.

(World Cup qualifier)

TROUBLED flared literally when Croatia’s wild bunch again scarred the pitch with pyrotechnics during a 2-2 draw against Czech Republic in the Euro finals in France. That offence saw Turkey become the latest visitors to experience the silent treatment in Zagreb.
