A third of over-50s say they are having the best sex of their lives whether they’re single or in a couple, according to a survey.

Fun is a factor too, with 32% saying they are freer and easier with sex than during their 30s and 40s.

The poll, to mark the DVD release of Book Club with Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda, also found that one in 10 over-50s are back on the dating scene after coming out of a long-term relationship.
