Seasons for good sperm
SPERM quality is lower in summer and winter due to boozy barbies and festive feasting, a study found.
Experts who studied 29,000 samples across the seasons think summer has fewer “swimmers” because testicles overheat.
Dr Taraneh Nazem, from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, said: “Maybe autumn and spring are more balanced.
“The temperatures are more mild and people are more physically active than in the winter.”
