We’ll buy our dream home after winning £1million on Lotto raffle

CHEERS Sarah & Mick A COUPLE who yearned to buy a luxury home on a new estate are making their dream come true... after winning £1million.

Mick Tyler and fiancée Sarah Harmer scooped the Lotto raffle just a day before they were off to Portugal on holiday.

While sunning themselves, they also decided to bring their 2020 wedding forward to next year. Mick said: “This is all so utterly mad and yet so flipping brilliant.

“For months we have been walking our dog Ralph past this development of beautiful homes joking that if we won the lottery we’d move there. Now we will. Yesterday we were picking flooring and kitchen cupboards for a fivebedroom detached dream home.”

Air conditioning engineer Mick, 35, and legal worker Sarah, 33, from Snodland, Kent, matched the Millionaire Raffle numbers on Saturday September 29 and rang Camelot first thing on Monday.

Mick said: “Someone from a hotline said, ‘Oh no, you haven’t won’. Then, ‘Sorry, I was looking at the wrong date. Yes, you’ve won £1million’.
