Cup holders sting Wasps

Pool One LUKE McGRATH and James Lowe scored two tries each as Wasps suffered a heavy opening loss in the European Champions Cup.

Sean Cronin went over for Leinster’s opener on five minutes.

Lima Sopoaga’s penalty reduced the arrears to 7-3, but McGrath’s first score made it 14-3 at half-time.

Lowe got the holders’ third try straight after the break and 10 minutes later McGrath was in again before Lowe (above) made it 35-3.

Jordan Larmour, Robbie Henshaw and Jack McGrath’s late tries heaped the misery on Wasps.
