Parents joy for Russell

GEORGE RUSSELL revealed his mother swore and his father was on the brink of tears when he told them he will be F1’s latest star next year.

The 20-year-old (above) from King’s Lynn, who has a multi-year contract with Williams, said: “They were both over the moon. My mother’s words were, ‘Oh f ****** hell!’.

“My father had a tear in his eye. It then really hit home.”
