DAVID BECKHAM led the calls to lay off England team-mate Ashley Cole after the Chelsea left-back was jeered by fans. Cole was at fault for Kazakhstan’s goal during an easy 5-1 win for England in their World Cup qualifier at Wembley. Beckham said: “When you hear that aimed at one of the best left-backs in the world, it’s just not right.”
