Kids in ‘early risk of death’
MILLIONS of children in England are at risk of premature death because their health lags behind other Western nations, a report has warned.
They are more likely to grow up obese, develop mental health problems and die younger, says the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
Prof Russell Viner, who compared data from Australia, Europe and Canada, said there was “danger on the horizon” and called for a new NHS approach.
