Meghan’s best pal joins her on royal tour
Stylist will be unofficial companion
MEGHAN Markle is counting on the support of her best pal on her first royal tour with Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex, 37, will reportedly be joined by her closest ally, stylist Jessica Mulroney, in Sydney where the royals landed yesterday for a 16-day trip taking in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
Jessica, 38, and husband Ben, 42, are said to be accompanying the newlyweds in an unofficial capacity and will be paying their own way.
The talented stylist helped Meghan plan her wedding and it is thought she will be on hand to assist when Meghan changes her outfit up to three times a day for 76 planned engagements.
The pair have been pals for years, with Jessica’s three children joining the bridal party at the Royal Wedding in Windsor in May. Jessica, who lives MEGHAN Markle’s estranged sister said their father got no formal invitation to her wedding to Prince Harry.
Samantha Markle, 53, also said Thomas, 74, had not heard from the Duchess since the event in May.
He was asked to “lay low” in the in Toronto, Canada – where Meghan filmed TV series Suits – also helped her friend and Harry, 34, when news of their relationship broke in 2016. The coy couple laid low in Jessica and her TV presenter husband’s home to avoid attention from photographers. This week they will reportedly fly to join Meghan and Harry in Sydney, where the royals will take in the Invictus Games. Ex-soldier Prince Harry founded the event in 2014. Later this week, the royals meet droughthit farmers in Dubbo and check out youth projects in Melbourne. They will then spend three days in Sydney, later returning for the Games’ closing ceremony on October 27. After visiting Fiji and Tonga, they fly to New Zealand before heading home on November 1.
