YOUR MEMORIES

This a photo of my mum and dad, Jack and Vera Arthur, with my little brother and I. It was taken during or just after the Second World War. During the war my dad worked in London, but my mum had to go back to Wales to live with her parents and I was born there. I have a letter from dad telling mum to keep out of London until the war was over. It must have been a frightening and stressful time for everyone back then.
