Half a billion spent on players .. but City are ’not ready’ to win the Champions League

PEP GUARDIOLA has claimed Manchester City are still not ready to win the Champions League.

The Blues have never got SERGIO RAMOS picked out Harry Kane as the England player who would flourish in Spain – then promised to extend his goal drought.

The Spurs striker is a longterm Real Madrid target but has gone six internatio­nals without a goal, his worst barren spell.

Going into tonight’s Nations League clash, Spain and Real captain Ramos reignited the transfer talk by suggesting Kane would be well suited to life in La Liga. Asked who in Gareth Southgate’s squad would be a hit in the Spanish top flight, Ramos (below) said: “I’m very impressed by all of them.
