REF: PORT VALE: LINCOLN: ATT: CREWE BURY 1 1 DAVID ARTELL has slammed his Crewe side for thinking they are Manchester City.

The Alex boss let rip after his men were denied victory by Bury. Crewe were 1-0 up at the break thanks to Charlie Kirk’s goal but former player Nicky Maynard levelled.

Manager Artell (below) said: “The performance wasn’t good enough and we cannot rely on others to do it.

“Some of them are thinking they can be 6/10 as long as someone else is 8/10. It doesn’t work like that.

“We are not Manchester City. We are Crewe Alexandra and we are fighting.”

Crewe are just four points above the drop zone while Bury are two points off the top seven.

Shakers boss Ryan Lowe said: “We created a lot of chances so I’m disappointed we didn’t get three points.”
