Snog scandal comedian hid in his dressing room then rushed home

LOVE cheat Seann Walsh kept a low profile as he prepared to perform on Strictly Come Dancing, going straight home afterwards.
All eyes were on the comedian who had been dumped by his girlfriend for kissing dance partner Katya Jones.
His routine, dubbed the “dance of shame” by judge Craig Revel Horwood, received 28 points and enough public votes to stay out of the bottom two. TV host Katie Piper left last night.
After Saturday’s charleston, Walsh, 32, said: “There was a point where I thought I can’t do this. I went back to where I was staying and kept practising and practising on my own.”
A Strictly source said: “Seann spent most of Saturday in his dressing room or quiet corners away from the other celebs in the run-up to filming the main show and the results show.
“He was very anxious and nervous, and only relaxed a little when their final dress rehearsal went well.
“Afterwards it was clear he was relieved to be through. He didn’t stop in the bar for a drink with the other contestants and went straight home.”
Walsh’s dance was seen by 11.9 million viewers, a million more than tuned in at this stage last year.
Veteran pro dancer Anton Du Beke, 52, in the show since 2004, has urged everyone to move on from the controversial kiss, claiming it was overshadowing the show.
But yesterday there were further reports Walsh had a secret fling with actress Emily Atack, 28, who believed he was single, behind the back of girlfriend Rebecca Humphries in 2016.
In last night’s results show, Katie became the third celebrity to leave after losing the dreaded dance-off to actor Charles Venn, 45.
Afterwards Katie, 35, who was partnered with Gorka Marquez, said: “I feel quite proud of us because we have learnt the most because we were the weakest at the start.
“And we have had a really good time. We can go home tonight saying we did it and we ended on a high. I feel thrilled to have been here for four weeks. So thank you to everyone.”
