Big emotion inside the Tardis
DOCTOR Who star Jodie Whittaker had “a little cry” after stepping into the Tardis.
The time machine has been refitted for the latest Time Lord and boasts shifting walls, a crystal and a biscuit dispenser.
Jodie, 35, told Radio Times: “Just walking into it the first time was amazing.
“I immediately had to go off and have a little cry. I had a real moment. It was surprisingly emotional.”
The design, unveiled in episode two of the new series on BBC1 on Sunday, was called “beautiful” by fans on Twitter.
Whittaker said: “Being a part of this, you do appreciate what a big deal the Tardis is to so many people.”
