Bed company sued over sex fall paralysis

-

A WOMAN left tetraplegic after she fell off a bed while having sex is suing the supplier for £1million.

Claire Busby, 46, claims she suffered her spinal injuries in 2013 because the bed was missing two “glider” feet when delivered – making it “slope”.

Mrs Busby, of Maidenhead, Berks, said she fell while changing position during the romp.

She said: “I felt as if I was catapulted off. My head hit the floor and I heard a spring in my body snap.”

Berkshire Bed Company Ltd, trading as Beds Are Uzzz, denies all blame and its barrister, Neil Block QC, said: “All gliders were fitted.” The High Court hearing continues.
