PC Nazi relic sale rapped

A POLICE force has blasted an officer’s sale of Auschwitz relics as “deeply offensive” but said no law had been broken.

PC Matt Hart is said to have offered barbed wire and fence insulators for sale on eBay, which he has since removed.

Northamptonshire Police said its professional standards staff had spoken “at length” to the officer.

It added: “There are moral and ethical concerns around selling such memorabilia that most people will find deeply offensive.”
