‘Give 10 years to poll trolls’

TROLLS should get up to 10 years’ jail for the most serious online intimidation of candidates, the Electoral Commission said.

The watchdog also wants a five-year ban on trolls standing for office.

It said: “People must be able to campaign without fear of abuse.”
