Fury at cafe over Ronaldo ‘sex cookies’
A PORTUGUESE cafe owner has been lambasted for selling biscuits showing rape-accused Cristiano Ronaldo having sex.
Jose Goncalves, owner of Our Taste of Portugal in Worcester, claims he was trying to appeal to the dark British sense of humour.
The 50p cookies, on sale since Monday, have been withdrawn. He sold 60.
Juventus and Portugal star Ronaldo denies assaulting Kathryn Mayorga in Las Vegas in 2009.
Jose said: “I thought it was just a bit of fun.
“It may have been a mistake on reflection and I deeply regret it now. “I can only apologise.” Wendy Newton said on Facebook: “Yeah, because rape and humour go hand in hand. Said no one. Ever.”
