Footie epic to help Demi, 11

THREE friends visited all 92 English Football League stadiums in just 90 hours to raise £25,000 for a girl of 11 who has cancer.

The cash will help Demi Knight get treatment abroad for a brain tumour after medics here said there was nothing else they could do.

James Whaley, Edward Brett and Stephen Backhouse joined forces to help Demi, of Louth, Lincs.

They aimed to finish in 92 hours, but did it in 90.

James said: “It was a bit harder than we thought.”
