Pay to park with plastic

DRIVERS can get money off parking by trading in old plastic bottles.

A 500ml bottle is worth 20p – with 95 needed for a day’s free parking.

CitiPark is running the pilot in Leeds this month.

Parking attendant Chris Jones said: “This is about helping the environment.”
