JAY: I HAVE INTEGRITY

SANATH JAYASURIYA has answered a corruption rap by stressing his “integrity and transparency”.

The former Sri Lanka captain (below) was charged by the ICC on Monday on two counts. He is in the dock for “failure or refusal” to assist with an anti-corruption unit probe, and “obstructing or delaying” its work by concealing, tampering or destroying documentation or information.

Jayasuriya hit back: “I have always conducted myself with integrity and transparency with matters concerning the sport and will continue to do so.”
