Help us to pep up boutique pop-up

-

Dear BIZ

We run an online boutique, Glitz N’Pieces (glitznpieces.com), offering statement fashion pieces including jewellery, handbags and sunglasses.

We started it up on less than £400 and have built it up to ship to 23 countries. We are trying something new for this Christmas.

We are opening a pop-up shop in Ireland’s largest department store Arnotts from October 30 until Christmas Eve.

We will be showcasing lots of items including monogrammed leather goods, such as luxury luggage tags, handbags, card holders, phone cases and the Millbrook Collection which we have designed ourselves.

We are wondering if you have any tips on how to promote this so we can attract more potential customers.

It’s good to try out new options for reaching a broader range of customers, and having your products on show so people can see them could bring you a whole new army of fans.

Do everything you can to promote your presence at the store – see if you can persuade Arnotts to plug your arrival in their own advertising and promotional work.

And find out if you can place any posters in the local area to tell passers by you are open and ready for business and what lovely goodies you have on offer.

Also use social media to help spread the word about your festive pop up – posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with gorgeous pix could help capture shoppers attention.
