Choc protein ‘boosts sex drive in men’

-

A HORMONE found in chocolate could improve men’s sex drive and help them fight depression.

Brain scans after injections of kisspeptin showed they got more turned on while looking at porn.

Scientists also discovered the protein affected “entire networks” of the brain when it was at rest.

Dr Alexander Comninos, of Imperial College London, said his study could open up new treatments for psychosexual and mood disorders.

He added that the conditions “are both huge health issues, and frequently occur together”.
