Tory in crime flyer bust-up

A TORY MP denies making constituents scared to talk to his opponents after issuing leaflets telling them to shop unexpected callers to Crimestoppers.

William Wragg also said the “red, yellow and green” warnings did not reference the colours of his Lib Dem, Labour and Green rivals.

He insisted that it was not his “intention” to deter canvassers in Hazel Grove, Gtr Manchester.

But Lib Dem leader Sir Vince Cable said: “This is cheap and nasty.”
