Malcolm and Norah marry. Inset, Mirror story on proposal last month. A 100-year-old has finally been made an honest woman by her toyboy, aged 74, after more than three decades of dating.

Norah Witkiss was pushed down the aisle in her wheelchair to Abba’s Dancing Queen, in a nod to how she met Malcolm Yates at a dance class in the 1980s.

And twice widowed Norah, a former school cook, had no problem waiting over 30 years to tie the knot. She said: “Oh, it’s beautiful. It’s absolutely wonderful. Of course it is worth the wait.”

Former bus driver Malcolm popped the question earlier this year. Norah said: “There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for me.

“We’ve been together for more than 30 years. I couldn’t do without Malcolm. He’s special, very special.” The pair wed at a hotel near their home in Prestatyn, Denbighshire, North Wales. Norah said of their 30 guests: “It’s wonderful to have lots of family and friends here. I never thought so many people loved me.”

Malcolm said they still fully enjoy life: “We’re always out and about together. We went travelling a lot and would dance on holidays to Torquay.”

Mum-of-one Norah married her first husband Fred Thomas when she was 18.

After he died in 1970 she met Bert Witkiss, who passed away in the 1980s.

Norah said: “I’ve had a very good life, really. I’ve enjoyed it. I’m Mrs Yates now. I’ll have to get used to my new surname.” SEALED WIT-A-KISS Happy couple pucker up. Right, Norah in her wedding finery
