Strain to see club for Andy

ANDY CARROLL, who has yet to play this season, is back in training and attempting to persuade West Ham’s board to extend his £100,000-a-week contract, which expires in the summer.

So far, there’s been no encouraging noises. Meaning the 29-year-old will be able to sign on a free with a new club in January.

It’s tough to know who would be a natural fit for Andy’s talents, but looking at his injury record I’d say Holby City should suit him best.
