Jury visit site of girls’ death

-

JURORS retraced the last steps of two nine-year-old girls murdered in woodland 32 years ago.

Russell Bishop, 52, is accused of sexually assaulting and strangling friends Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows in October 1986.

He is on trial for a second time, at the Old Bailey, after the Court of Appeal quashed his 1987 acquittal.

The jury passed teddies, balloons and flowers at a memorial to the girls in Wild Park, Brighton.
