Putin: ISIS has 700 hostages in Syria and will kill 10 a day

VLADIMIR Putin claims Islamic State has captured 700 hostages, including Europeans and Americans, and is threatenin­g to execute 10 a day.

The Russian President said the captives, including dozens of women and children, were seized at a refugee camp in a US-controlled area of Syria.

Speaking in the Black Sea resort of Sochi yesterday, Putin WARNING President Putin said: “They have issued ultimatums, specific demands, and warned that if these are not met they will execute 10 people every day. The day before yesterday they executed 10 people. “Everyone is silent, some kind of silence, as if nothing is happening.” Putin did not specify what the demands are. The hostages were taken on the left bank of the River Euphrates, controlled by the US and US-backed forces, according to reports.
