‘Wrong-way’ death car in earlier crash

KILLED Ex-soldier Stuart THE car towing a caravan that caused a fatal head-on crash on a motorway was in an accident days earlier.

The foreign-plated Subaru was driven the wrong way up the M40 in Oxfordshire on Sunday, killing its two elderly occupants and ex-soldier Stuart Richards, 32, an engineer.

Police are now probing what action was taken after the earlier accident in High Wycombe, Bucks, on October 10.

The matter has been referred to force conduct watchdogs.
