WHEN autumn leaves start to fall this garden is always a glorious mosaic of red, green and gold.

Marie Newton, 70, and husband Tony, 69, tend 3,000 trees, shrubs and plants in Walsall, West Mids, and have had 13,514 visitors at garden open days, raising more than £43,000 for charity.

Their Four Season Garden even featured on Gardeners’ World in 2008. Mrs Newton said: “Alan Titchmarsh said it was high art.” UNDERPANTS and a pair of orange Crocs are among 300 items Ed Sheeran has donated to be auctioned for charity.

Apart from the “aka sexy beast” undies and shoes, the singer has also given a guitar, headphones, records and some of the Heinz ketchup T-shirts he often wears.
