Crazed drug driver jailed
A DRIVER high on drugs ran seven red lights, sped down streets the wrong way, did a cartwheel on a forecourt and tried to pay for fuel with a petrol cap while blasting Status Quo.
Ian Thompson, 45, who got a suspended prison term last year, was jailed for eight months for failing to do work on probation.
Judge Mr Justice James Dingemans told the amphetamine addict, of Plymouth, Devon: “This is another example of the destruction drugs cause.”
