■ I love the new Doctor Who with Jodie Whittaker. She has breathed life into a show that badly needed it. Her character is refreshing and liberating. She is funny, brave, very smart and, unlike previous series, the story is much more believable. Her new assistants, especially Bradley Walsh, have fitted in perfectly.

■ I am enjoying ITV’s three-part series Gordon, Gino And Fred: Road Trip, following the three foodie favourites and their motoring mishaps. It’s amusing with a good mix of travel and cooking. A second series would definitely be a recipe for success.
