Do you believe? Well, Yvette Fielding certainly does and as this latest series starts you can hear her cries of: “There’s footsteps coming towards me down the bloody corridor” and “My legs are shaking”.
Wide eyed in the dark, Yvette and her dedicated team of paranormal investigators continue to terrify themselves as they travel the country looking into some of the UK’s most haunted locations. This is an “as live” two-hour special at Ashwell Prison, a deserted sprawling building in Rutland, East Midlands, that now has an eerie reputation.
Beginning life as an open prison, it was later converted to a category C prison, before a riot led to it finally closing its doors seven years ago.
So what kind of paranormal activity can we expect? Strange sounds, shadows, footsteps and a dark shape, apparently.
“Oh why did I say I was going to do this?” sighs Yvette.
