Brexiteers to defy gun vote

BREXITEER Tories will vote against a proposed Home Office ban on military-grade rifles in a show of defiance at Theresa May.

Police want them banned in case terrorists get their hands on them.

Brexiteer Sir Bernard Jenkin is among 35 Tories who will back an amendment to block the ban.

Louise Haigh MP, the shadow policing and crime minister, said: “Tory MPs should stop playing politics with public safety.”
