I’m having quads.. at age of 50

.. and she’s a gran to 8!

A DELIGHTED gran of eight is set to become the UK’s oldest mum of quads at 50.

Tracey Britten is expecting three girls, including identical twins and a boy. She has defied odds to reach 30 weeks and says the babies are due any time.

Tracey, who got pregnant after spending £7,000 on IVF in Cyprus, said: “They’ve booked me in for a C-section in two or three weeks. They said I would never get to 28 weeks, and here I am at 30.”

The babies will have to be split up immediately after birth, with two sent to a different hospital.

That’s because the one near home in London only has two specialist incubators. Tracey added: “The babies are all fine and healthy. It really is a miracle.”

Tracey had three children, now 32, 31 and 22, with her first husband, but they split in 2003 and she met new husband Stephen in 2005, marrying in 2012.

She had four embryos implanted in one go and they all developed into viable pregnancies.

Tracey said she “doesn’t care” what critics say, and has longed for a child with Stephen.
